2023 Nana Jeanne Rose
A light, crisp, dry Rosé of Cabernet Franc, grown at Seven Hills Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley. Tim made this wine in the tradition of the Rosés of the Loire Valley in France - light, dry, great acidity, low alcohol, and beautiful aromatics. This wine is delicate, yet flavorful and will be a lovely pairing with a wide range of summer menus - from grilled chicken to seafood and salads... or nothing at all.
Who is Nana Jeanne? Tim's Mom!
Tasting notes
Intensely aromatic with fresh red fruits and an exciting trace of jalapeno on the nose. Totally dry, crisp, and refreshing on the palate, with a persistent, mouth-watering finish.
Serving suggestion: If refrigerated, allow the wine to warm slightly before serving. Serve at about 50F to make the most of the arromatics and fresh flavors in this wine.
Production notes
Harvested by hand on September 30th from Seven Hills Vineyard, this wine was hand sorted and lightly crushed to allow flavor and color to be extracted during a 2 hour cold soak on the skins. Fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel at low temperatures to maintain the exciting and natural aromatics from Cabernet Franc.
