2019 Syrah

Our first ever release of a Walla Walla Valley Syrah! And where better to source that fruit than the famed Les Collines Vineyard. For many Walla Walla wine aficionados, this vineyard needs no introduction. If you are discovering it for the first time, we are thrilled to be introducing you to this landmark vineyard in the foothills of the Blue Mountains. The vineyard's client list reads like a who's who of the region's best winemakers and Syrah is often the variety people are drawn to. That said, they grow other varieties exceptionally well also.

This wine has classic Syrah character with loads of fruit on the nose and palate. This vintage was aged for about 16 months in small French oak barrels (50% new) but the oak plays the role of supporting character here, adding complexity and seriousness to loads of fruit and earthiness.
