2017 Bogie's Blend
A beautiful, approachable blend of two of Washington's most popular varieties: Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Tasting notes
This blend of 50% Syrah and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon offers a generous nose of cherry, blueberry, plumb, and cocoa. On the palette, this wine over-delivers with ripe, velvety dark fruits and a touch of vanilla character delivered in a lush structure that is perfect to enjoy now or lay down for a few years. While this is not a traditional Old World style blend, here in the Columbia Valley of Washington State, we grow both of these varieties so exceptionally well that it only makes sense to put them together in a blend.
Pairing ideas: Grill up some rib-eyes and invite the neighbors over for this one.

Who is Bogie?
Bogie is our family dog. Named after the classic Hollywood actor of the same moniker, our Bogie is a 17-year-old Beagle-Basset mix who joined our family as a rescue more than 14 years ago. The wine itself could be called a "mixed breed" as well.
